The faculty of the RCC Massage Therapy program believe in and support the RCC mission and goals as written. The Massage Therapy program will enrich lives and provide hope for well-being, while meeting the educational needs of students. We believe the massage therapy curriculum must be responsive to the needs of its students, the college, the community and the profession of massage. The program is measured against state and the national standards.
The advisory committee includes:
- Representatives from local health care facilities
- Community members
- RCC massage program alumnus
- Massage student representatives
The primary responsibilities of the members are to provide information about current massage or bodywork trends and issues, serve as a liaison between the program and community, and make suggestions for program improvement. Meetings are held annually.
